Army Chief meets US commander discusses Afghan border coordination

RAWALPINDI: Pakistan’s Army Chief, General Raheel Sharif conducted a meeting with the  US commander to discussed coordination along Pak-Afghan border and regional security among other matters of mutual interest with the top United States commander in Afghanistan.

A statement issued by the Inter-Services public Relations (ISPR) said General John F. Campbell, Commander Resolute Support Mission and United States Forces in Afghanistan called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif at the General Headquarters (GHQ)  and matters of mutual interest and regional security with particular emphasis on coordination along Pak-Afghan border were discussed in ihis meeting.
